We are very pleased to offer you this Victorian rosewood library table that would have been made circa 1860, very much in a style that Gillows would have designed.
The rectangular rosewood top with the gently rounded corners.
This library table stands on end turned supports with a pair of carved cabriole legs to each column support.
There is a full width drawer to the front, with a lightly carved bracket to each side.
Imagine this in the original elegant interior of a Victorian library or drawing room, and the letters that may have been written to family and friends around the world, excitedly conveying the news of the time.
This is of a great proportion, fine design and rich colour, it can be set in a room away from the wall, it could also be used as a sofa table, where you could place lamps, photos, and decanters.
