Here is a slightly earlier design of partners writing tables that you normally see on the market. It would have been made at the cusp of the William IV and Early Victorian period. It is fitted 2 drawers to each side of the table.
The table stands on 4 well turned legs set to each corner. The legs have multi ring turnings and taper to finish on a shaped brass cup castor.
The top is inset with a gilt tooled leather inset writing surface and with an antiqued finish.
