This Victorian walnut cheval mirror was made circa 1865.
It is made of walnut which is unusual as the majority of cheval mirrors in this period are made of mahogany.
The dome top mirror with the original mercurial plate glass, that sparkles when you look at it at an angle. The rear of this mirror has a panelled back.
The mirror is supported by the wonderful stand with end supports are joined by the shaped and carved stretcher.
