Large Victorian mahogany campaign writing box

This is a great example of a Campaign writing box.
The box has flush brass straps and corners and carrying handles each one secured by fine screws.
The main body of the box is of mahogany and opens up to reveal a writing surface as well as compartments for storing letters and stationery.
