Here we have this magnificent example of a a Victorian cheval mirror. I would suggest that it is the best of its type on the market.
Having its original brass candle sconces that normally have been lost in time, it gives the regal look and adds to its overall attractiveness as well as a great conversation point.
As the mirror is longer than usual it makes a superb full length mirror and in turn throws out a good light into the room.
The stand consists of the usual form with scroll shaped supports that are attached to the platform base and with scroll feet with concealed castors under.
The mirror swings and adjusts with a mahogany turned knob to each side.
