Here we have this late Victorian solid walnut desk (made circa 1880-1900)
The desk has the normal 3 drawers along the top, in the right hand pedestal it has a small drawer at the top and a disguised double file drawer at the bottom, this makes it even more useful. The pedestal to the left is fitted the usual 3 graduated drawers.
The desk is fielded panels to the pedestals and on the drawer fronts
It has its original brass plate handles.
This walnut desk was made in 3 sections as you would require when buying a pedestal desk as if they ae made in one piece they probably started their life as dressing table. This makes it very easy to move around your office or home.
