This Antique Colonial brass bound chest was made circa 1880. NOW SOLD
Originally made for a British family living in India to carry precious items when travelling.
This will make a striking coffee table as a centrepiece of a drawing room or lounge. It also would look great in a bedroom or landing.
The chest with brass carrying handles and multiple inset flush brass corners all screwed into place which is assign that this was a more expensive piece in the day.
The lid opens to reveal storage space and a fitted interior for valuables.
