This early 19thc chest is fitted 4 long graduated drawers and stand on a plinth base.
The drawers are lined with oak and have very fine dovetails
The cabinet-maker spent time selecting the right timber to use when he made this lovely piece.
The drawers have their original turned mahogany handles,that are turned to a conical shape and then with a delicate roundel to the peak.
These Antique chests of drawers are so useful and can be used in any home.
I find these chests so practical for modern living, they use every bit of space with no wastage and take a tremendous amount of items.
