This Victorian mahogany dressing table is one of the finest examples you are likely to see. Made in one of the finest workshops of the period and made for the home of societies elite.
It would have been made circa 1865 using the best materials available for the cabinetmaker to build this stunning dressing table.
The dressing table is made in sections with the mirror lifting off, the top section with a row of drawers lifts off to leave the 2 banks of drawers on the lower pedestals.
One pedestal is fitted 3 graduated drawers and the other with 2 drawers one being of double depth with its dummy front to give the impression that it is 2.
This is Victorian furniture at its best and just oozes quality in all respects.
