This Victorian gilt over mantle was made circa 1870. NOW SOLD
Having the original mercurial glass deep hand cut bevelled mirror plate in the beautifully decorated frame.
Original 23ct. gold leaf over red and yellow bole on the frame with egg and dart moulding along the cornice , then ball beading running down the back edge of the side upright, with overlapping leaf moulding on the centre of this upright.
