This Georgian mahogany partners desk is of a rare small size and was made circa 1810. NOW SOLD
It is fitted with 3 drawers along the top and a further 3 graduated drawers in each pedestal.
To the rear it is fitted 3 drawers along the top and with cupboards to each side of the kneehole that are fitted with shaped oak sliding shelves.
The desk stands on the plinth base.
The large writing surface that is inset with the period bottle green leather that is gilt tooled.
The drawers are mahogany, and oak lined, the locks are stamped GR with the Royal crown above.
This Georgian mahogany partners desk comes in 3 pieces as would be expected on a period desk, this was to allow easy transportation to a home or office.
