Georgian inlaid mahogany chest of drawers

This impressive chest of drawers would have been made in the North Country, and probably in Lancashire

Made of fine mahogany the chest has inlay designs of shells in satinwood as with as box stringing.

To each side of the 5 graduated drawers you have reeded pillars.

The chest stands on shaped ogee bracket feet.

There are a pair of drawers to the top and a further 3 long graduted drawers below.

This type of chest really are impressive and make a great statement in a bedroom.
