This George V walnut dressing table made circa 1920. NOW SOLD
This wonderful item as a dressing table, although it can be used for multiple uses.
Made one of the best workshops of the period using fine walnut, during its polishing process intentionally stressed/aged . This was to make it look as if it had been made in the time of the style of George I and had taken the scars of time.
100 years later this is now for sale with not only the intentional stressing but also the historical signs of use. We have sympathetically restored this to the high standard it deserves.
It is finished on all sides and so this can be placed in a room away from the wall.
Having 3 graduated oak lined drawers to each side of the kneehole that is fitted a cupboard, above the kneehole is a drawer.
All of the drawers are fitted with the original brass handles.
