This Edwardian mahogany pedestal desk was made circa 1910 using fine mahogany.
The desk comes into 3 parts for ease of transportation to and around your home. Consisting of the top section and then the 2 pedestals.
The desk is the best domestic size as it is not too big but also provides a superb working surface and great capacity in the drawers.
The top has the inset leather gilt tooled writing surface and is fitted 3 drawers, all with their original brass swing handles.
Each pedestal has 3 graduated drawers again fitted with their original brass swing handles.
The desk stands on a plinth base and has concealed castors under.
This design is very much in the style of a Maple & co design but has no labels or stamps to confirm this.
To own this desk will give you much pleasure and imagine how lovely it will be to work at this and the great working surface it provides.
