Here we have this walnut bureau made in the last quarter of the 19th century.
This bureau is fitted 3 long grauated drawers and stands on shaped bracket feet.
The cross-banded fall opens to reveal drawers, a cupboard and pigeon holes for stationery.
This bureau is of a lovely colour and the walnut has been selected well by the cabinetmaker to give it the most interest in its grain and figuring.
