This Antique teak iron bound chest was made circa 1860. NOW SOLD
Originally used for the owner to transport valuables around the East on the perilous and difficult trade routes.
Having strong iron hinges and protective straps to help withstand the rigors of the journeys by cart, mule or other beasts of burden.
These make wonderful conversation pieces as the mind is inspired by the adventures and wonderment of what this has seen.
As it is finished all around it makes a wonderful coffee table as well as being a great piece for storing your items.
