This Victorian walnut baby Sutherland table was made circa 1880. NOW SOLD
These ‘baby’ Sutherland tables are so useful around the home. As they are small they can be easily moved around to provide an extra surface when required. They fold down to a small narrow table that can sit against a wall or alongside a chair. Then when called upon you can use it with only 1 leaf up in place or using both.
The leaves are supported by swing out legs, that swing into the base when closed. The table base consists of solid walnut double ring turned end supports and a pole stretcher joining the 2 ends.
This is the desirable oval shape version and has the very attractive burr walnut top.
