This Victorian mahogany partners desk was made circa 1860
It is of the usual form with 9 drawers to the front, and then 3 drawers and a pair of cupboards to the rear. Made in 3 parts for ease of transportation around the office or home.

The drawers with applied mouldings around the edges which is a very desirable feature.
The inset hand dyed hide leather writing surface with gilt tooling. The warm burgundy colour antiqued so that this looks to have been laid since the day this Victorian partners desk was made.
It has cupboards to the rear with well selected flame mahogany panels, the doors open to reveal storage.
