This Victorian mahogany chest was first made circa 1870. NOW SOLD
The chest is fitted with a box drawer and the charming feature of a bonnet cupboard each side of the pair of narrow drawers. This cupboard obviously can be used for other uses. We may wonder what hats or bonnets this may have stored.
Below these are a further 3 graduated drawers, the bottom drawer having the clever deep bottom drawer that the plinth is disguised in the lower drawer front. This makes the bottom drawer deeper to allow a fabulous storage option.
