Victorian mahogany banded pedestal desk
Here we have this Victorian pedestal desk made of mahogany with mahogany cross-banding around the edge of the drawers and to the back.
The original inset red leather inset writing surface with gilt tooling.
The desk has the traditional 3 drawers along the top and 3 graduated drawers in each pedestal that are set each side of the kneehole.
The rear of the desk has dummy drawers along the top and then attractive mahogany cross-banding on the pedestals
This desk is made in 3 parts for ease of movement around the home or office. It makes it particularily easy to get this into an upstairs study office or bedroom.
Caution, if you see desks that not made in 3 sections it will almost certainly be because they have been converted from another item of furniture
