This superb example of a Victorian inlaid walnut cardtable stands on finely turned and carved walnut legs.
This design is quite rare and is more stable than the tables with central columns.
The shaped rectangular top has box stringing as well as fine inlaid designs.
The frieze also has the fine inlays and stringing as well as elegant bow ends
The top swivels to reveal a ‘cigar box’ mahogany lined storage area, and then opens up for the baize playing area.
