In this period the cabinetmakers had a wealth of antique timber, that was redundant, that they could then use to make these superb tables.
The cabinet maker has chosen the timber well, to construct this twin pillar table.
The well figured solid mahogany top, with a double stringing of box and ebony inset around the edge.
The table stands on a pair of tripod pillar supports.
It has an extra leaf that clips in to extend the table to a good length.
