Mahogany ‘Plum Pudding’ Twin Pillar Dining Table

Mahogany ‘Plum Pudding’ Twin Pillar Dining Table

Here is a very good example of a solid mahogany twin pillar dining table made in the Regency style.

This would have been made in a cabinet-makers workshop in the early to mid 20thc. The cabinetmaker would have used recycled Georgian timber from a redundant table, choosing timber that is of great interest and look.

The plum pudding effect giving the table an interesting appeal as well as being a dense timber that was no longer available.
