Each bedside chest has 4 graduated drawers, all with their original turned knob handles.
Pairs of bedside chests/cabinets are incredibly hard to source, as they were not made at the time as people had a different lifestyle, and so were not required.
Cabinetmakers adapted large Victorian dressing tables that are/were redundant for the modern home and made them into items that are relevant for today’s modern home.
