Here we have this Late Victorian inlaid rosewood envelope card table of marvellous design.
To reveal the playing surface, you swivel the top slightly, a button pops up under one of the envelope sections to push one of them up, so that you may gain access to the playing area. Each one of the envelope sections, has a scooped out section for counters or gaming chips for each player.
Under the inlaid top, there is a full width drawer that is, ideal to store your cards and other gaming items.
The top and drawer front has lovely inlaid panels of urns and swags.
The 4 legs coming off the turned and fluted column, has inlays of bell flowers, before ending with the original castors
