Georgian style 3 pedestal mahogany dining table
NOW SOLD
Here is your opportunity to own this Georgian style 3 pedestal mahogany dining table, that would sit 12 plus diners.
This table was made in the first quarter of the 20th century using antique timber. At this time in Britain, there was an abundance of fine timber of redundant pieces.
This allowed the cabinetmakers to use superb timber with colour and figuring, to construct these triple pillar tables.
This lovely example has a pair of tripod supports at each end and then a quadruple support to the centre. All the pedestal supports have the original solid square brass toes with rolling castors under.
The Georgian style 3 pedestal mahogany dining table can be used without the centre section.
The patina has a tactile quality , and you just feel drawn to run your hand along the tables surface.
As well as the 3 table sections, you have 2 extra leaves to extend the table to its fullest length.
Imagine how you can sit at this mahogany dining table while entertaining your family and friends.
You could also take yourself back in time and wonder at the conversations, that would have been held over the meals. They could have been discussing the wonderment of mans first flight across the Atlantic, the relief of the end of WWII, or mans first steps on the moon.
