This Georgian oak pot board dresser base was made circa 1820.
It has a double depth drawer each end, that look to be 2 drawers on the fronts and a single drawer between them above the arch frieze. The drawers all with the matching plate brass backplates and swing handles.
This dresser is a good width and not too deep and so makes a brilliant piece of furniture to fit in many places around your home.
As it is a country piece, you have the charm of the undulating top, that shows its 200 years of life.
The pot board running along the base is joined by the finely turned front legs.
