This George V mahogany open bookcase was made circa 1920 to be retailed in one of the top end retailers of the day. NOW SOLD
It is of bow front shape and fitted with adjustable shelves. This allows you to arrange these to get the height of shelf you require.
Along the shelf front and the leading edges of this elegant bookcase is walnut and kingwood banding.
The base has a cupboard with indent cock beaded doors that enclose a shelved interior, and stands on French splay legs.
