The design is the classic Regency/Georgian style a design that has graced important homes since they were first used from 1780 onwards.
The dining table stands on 3 pedestals that have gun barrel turned columns with the legs sweeping off and the toes of cast brass toes with castors under.
The superb top with a satinwood banded edge. It consists of the 3 table sections and then 2 leaves that can join the table to make this of a substantial size.
A dining table like this can be used with or without its extra leaves and so that gives you plenty of different seating sizes.
