This George III oak padfoot dresser base was made circa 1785.
The dresser base has 3 cabriole legs along the front and the usual square legs to the rear.
Under the drawers is the shaped fret in the style of waves. This adds to the overall wonderful design as well as it is of a wonderful honey colour.
The drawers banded in a fruitwood and having the original knob brass handles.
