This Edwardian mahogany butterfly Sutherland table was made during the reign of Edward VII circa 1900. NOW SOLD
The cabinetmaker selected fine grade mahogany to make this table.
It is of a great size and the elegant butterfly wing shape and can be used with just one drop flap in place. When it is closed it can easily be placed against the wall if you wish.
The underframe has shaped ends that are joined by a beautifully turned stretcher, with fine cabriole legs that swing out to give support to each leaf.
