We are delighted to offer you this Edwardian inlaid mahogany pedestal desk, that would have been first made c.1910. NOW SOLD
The high grade mahogany has the very attractive and desirable satinwood banding and the line inlay to the top front and sides.
This quality desk would have been originally retailed by a high end company, probably Maples.
Made in 3 parts, which makes transportation and moving it around your office or home very convenient.
The top with its replacement inset leather writing surface in our warm rose colour, then finished with hand gilt tooling. This work has been done by our specialist, who has 50 years of experience.
The pedestal desk is fitted with 3 drawers under the top, with a further 3 graduated drawers to each pedestal and stands on a plinth base with concealed castors under. All the drawers are lined in fine mahogany.
