This early Victorian mahogany partners desk has a makers stamp by Soloman, Great Queen Street, Soho, London.

The large leather writing surface is of a fine leather hide, that is hand coloured and finished with a gilt tooled edge.

The leather is of a lovely plum red colour. This is not a leather that is purchased pre coloured of a roll, but done in the traditional manner, by a craftsman with over 40 years experience. The whole process is time consuming, and done with care to give a magnificent finish, that this fine desk deserves.

Made circa 1850 with fine mahogany.

Under the top, the desk has 3 cock-beaded drawers to each side (with key) and then sits on the 2 pedestals, that are fitted 3 graduated cock-beaded drawers to the front and panel cupboards to the rear.

The desk is made in 3 parts, consisting of the desk top, that sits on the pedestals that are to each side. As this Victorian desk is made in 3 parts, it allows for easy transportation into a home or office, but also allows you to move it easily into other situations if you so wish.

The Victorian partners desk finishes on a plinth base with bun feet.

Imagine sitting at this desk and having a large work space. It will no doubt bring many positive comments and admiration by family and friends.
