Antique gilt oval girandole
This Antique gilt oval girandole was made circa 1830. NOW SOLD
It is of oval form with triple candleholders applied to the carved wood frame to each side of the mercurial plate mirror.
The cresting with a beautifully modelled shell surrounded by swags and foliate designs. The apron again with foliate intricate designs.
It is a magnificent mirror that will look fantastic above a fireplace or in a hallway or drawing room.
It is important that this girandole has its original mercurial mirror plate glass, so often over time that they have been replaced with modern glass.
