This elegant Adam style gilt mirror was made circa 1860.
The bevelled mirror is oval shaped with the pleasing ribbons and swags adorning it.
The gilt oval frame has a fine surmount with an anthemion to the centre with ribbons coming off each side, also having bellflower swags that sweep to join a pair of flaming torches to each side.

It has been restored to its former glory by our specialist who has worked on the Royal collection, including Windsor Castle.
