A superb Victorian inlaid walnut side-cabinet with a Wedgwood plaque to the door. This magnificent piece would grace any home. The columns to each end embellished with gilt brass mounts and inlaid with box and purple-heart. The 2 end doors are glazed that open to reveal 2 adjustable shelves with line inlays. The central panel door fitted the oval Wedgwood panel surrounded by gilt brass mounts and with fine inlaid decoration to the corners opens to reveal 2 shelves.
This cabinet is of a size that makes it compatible with any sized room.
This is Victorian at its height without the heaviness and extra adornment of many of the pieces of this era.
