The cabinetmakers chose the most decorative and interesting rosewood to make it an eye-catching piece.
This table would have been displayed in a prominent position of a professional family’s home. This was to show their success and wealth to visitors and family and friends.
The tilting circular top sits on a wonderful base with sloping sides with wonderful solid rosewood scroll supports down to the platform base.
The platform base with superb solid rosewood claw feet with concealed castors under.
This table has many uses not only as a beautiful dining table, but can be used as a centre table in an entrance hall or drawing room.
