This William IV red walnut library chair was made circa 1820. NOW SOLD
Having the mahogany frame with open arms with carved scroll hand grips.
The deep buttoned back with the pronounced lumber that makes it so comfortable to sit in.
It has open arms with leather pad arm rests, that lead to the finely carved rosette scroll hand grips.
The turned front legs with upturned tulip carving, ending with brass cup castors. The rear legs with square brass castors.
Looking from side-on this wonderful chair has a great bold shape as it follows the outline of the lumber on the back.
Just imagine sitting back and relaxing in this chair and the joy it will give you.
