This Victorian walnut marquetry dining table is circular when closed and takes 2 extra leaves to allow for extra seating options.
Once you have both leaves in place you have a comfortable 8–10-seater.
This dining table is mahogany with the burr walnut laid onto the surface and then inlaid with marquetry panels.
There are panels of inlay of castles, a design you see on the columns of credenzas.
This may have been commissioned to match one of those Victorian credenzas.
It stands on fluted turned legs with the Victorian brass cup castors and white porcelain wheels.
