Originally a loo table (‘Loo’ was a Victorian parlour game) this table has been adapted in its lifetime to make a superb and stunning coffee table. A real conversation piece as the golden colour together with the superb burr walnut top makes this such a standout piece for your home.
The shaped oval top with its lovely burr walnut veneers stands on the original quadruple carved walnut legs.
This example is of large proportions and is rare to be this wonderful size.
There were no coffee tables in the 19th century and so people looked for items that could be used for this use as coffee tables became an important part of the modern home. This style of table is perfect for such a use.
