Here we have lovely ottoman of near square form, made in the Victorian period circa 1870
We have refinished it and covered it in fine hand dyed leather.
Having the original mahogany turned feet to each corner, this example is covered in fine tan leather with mahogany trimmings.
The lid lifts to reveal a full storage space, lined in black cloth.
The body of a shaped waist and the leather applied with individual brass stud work
This makes not only useful storage in many places around the home, but also can be used as a stool and coffee table.
