Victorian oak desk chair
This Victorian oak desk chair was made circa 1890.
This desk chair has a good long saddle seat and with a leather buttoned arm and back rest.
We have upholstered the arm and back rest in fine leather that is hand dyed before finished in our antique look. This is a high quality product and so the best finish craftsmen and materials are used.
The legs are joined by turned and crinoline shaped stretchers, this makes the chair very strong. At the bottom of the legs are castors.
I attribute this chair to be by Bros who were a company based in Bristol, they used the Greek key design on their pieces, often centre and occasional tables.
This a very comfortable desk chair that you can sit in comfort for long periods.
