Victorian mahogany mirror back sideboard
Here we have this majestic sideboard with the detachable mirro back.
This sideboard has the desirable feature of 4 cupboard doors and a central drawer. There is no wasted space and so this is a piece that uses every inch of space it takes in the home and at the same time looks fantastic.
This sideboard has the lovely mirror back with it beautifully carved cresting at the pinnacle.
The mirror back is just screwed on and can be used without the mirror but we find once it is in a dining room the extra light it gives to the room makes it a must have.
This sideboard would have been made circa 1870 and made for the professional classes in the day.
The left hand cupboard is fitted sliding trays, the right hand cupboard is fitted a cellarette and a drawer. The pair of central cupboard drawers open to reveal a shelf.
Above the central cupboard is a drawer.
