Victorian mahogany and leather stool in Georgian manner
This Victorian mahogany and leather stool in Georgian manner, would have been made circa 1880. Now Sold
The stool has a cabriole leg to each corner, that is carved with a mask to each knee and goes down to the hairy paw carved feet.
We have upholstered this in fine hand dyed green leather, and then finished it in our antique finish. The leather is secured to the frame by brass capped studs, each individual nail tapped in one at a time. A time consuming job, that takes care and time.
