Victorian leather ottoman
This Victorian leather ottoman was made circa 1880.
We have totally restored and upholstered this ottoman using grade 1 English leather hide. Once upholstered and buttoned the russet leather is then hand coloured and aged using our specialist to get the finish that you would believe was the original.
The work involved in this is time consuming and highly skilled, tapping in each of the hundreds of brass headed studs is painstaking.
We have used our crushed red berry colour that gives a colour as you would find on a period chesterfield or club chair.
The deep buttoned leather lid opens with the period handle to reveal a grey lined interior, imagine how much you will get in this!
You can use this as a seat, coffee table at the end of a bed or other places in your home where you would like not only a seat but wonderful storage options.
