The River Wylye Table
Here we have this majestic tilt top table.
These are known as Loo tables aftre they were used originally for the Victorian parlour game of Loo.
They became so popular as they made such wonderful dining tables that were not only practical for use that when not in use they were superb to look at.
This fine example has beautiful finely inlaid panels of decoration to the four corners, that are joined by a double box stringing.
The base with 4 turned and carved supports above the 4 cabriole legs all in solid walnut .
The top with fabulous burr walnut and inlaid
