This Victorian inlaid walnut music cabinet was made circa 1870. NOW SOLD
It has turret ends with turned walnut columns with Corinthian capitals in gilt bronze.
The top with a marquetry design joined by box wood stringing, and a cast brass gallery to 3 sides.
The single glazed door opens to allow access to the storage. The shelves still with the original tooled leather with Dance, General, Sacred, and Sons embossed onto them.
Obviously, you would not need to store music in this, but it is charming still to have the original leather on the shelves. There are upright dividers also to help provide sensible storage options.
