This set of 8 Victorian walnut dining chairs were made circa 1870. NOW SOLD
The chairs have a shaped top-rail with the central splat that has fine pieced carving as well as delicate leaf carving to the circular feature to the middle of this splat.
The serpentine shaped stuffed seats with the front cabriole legs to the front and swept legs to the rear.
It is rare to find a set of 8 cabriole legged chairs, as usually they were in sets of 6.
They are an elegant design and will look wonderful around a dining table, adding a touch of class and style to your dining room.
