This Set of 8 Regency mahogany dining chairs were made circa 1820, probably in Scotland. NOW SOLD
Consisting of a pair of armchairs and 6 side chairs all with Trafalgar drop in seats.
The chairs have the very desirable sabre legs. Sabre legs came into fashion after Britains victory at the Battle of Waterloo.
This style of dining chair really compliments Georgian style dining tables, many of which we have in stock.
This set of 8 Regency chairs were purchased by us from a Hungarian noble family.
