This Set of 12 Georgian mahogany dining chairs were made circa 1800. NOW SOLD
The set consists of a pair of armchairs and 10 side chairs.
The chairs using a Chippendale design with the classic shaped top-rail and the superb shaped pierced and carved central splat, the moulded front legs and a serpentine shaped seat.
They have tapestry seats (this type of seat is easy to change the top covering) that drop-in to the frame with the serpentine seat front rail.
Again, they have the classic Chippendale square moulded front legs joined by stretchers that make these a very solid and stable chair that will be good to be used by the modern man!
Each chair has amazing bronze corner braces that are shaped to the shape of the frame.
